God's creation is worth protecting. Reducing, reusing and recycling have long been part of our identity as a congregation. Recently we have begun to take even more steps to be responsible stewards of our environment. These include:
Installing newer, lower-energy light fixtures in our buildings
Using cloth napkins instead of paper for routine church functions
Buying supplies in bulk to reduce packaging waste
Avoiding disposable products whenever possible
Our church property provides a wonderful green space in our community. Our landscaping includes trees, flowering plants and other spaces in harmony with the natural environment that often provide a sanctuary for wildlife as well as our human congregation members.
