Going Green
God's creation is worth protecting. Reducing, reusing and recycling have long
been part of our identity as a congregation. Recently we have begun to take
even more steps to be responsible stewards of our environment. These include:

  • Installing newer, lower-energy light fixtures in our buildings
  • Using cloth napkins instead of paper for routine church functions
  • Buying supplies in bulk to reduce packaging waste
  • Avoiding disposable products whenever possible

Our church property provides a wonderful green space in our community. Our
landscaping includes trees, flowering plants and other spaces in harmony with
the natural environment that often provide a sanctuary for wildlife as well as our
human congregation members.
