Our Church History

Our congregation began in
1859 under the leadership of Rev.
William Jones.
The Church facility was located at 4th
& G Street in downtown Eureka.
In 1890 the congregation moved
to a larger facility at 8th and G
Streets.  Eventually the church was in
need of many repairs and the
congregation chose to relocate.
In 1973 the building was torn down and
the property sold.
We moved to our present site at
Hodgson and J  Streets in October
of 1959 where  we enjoy beautiful
grounds and ample parking. Our
worship life is enriched by the
spectacular floor to ceiling stained
glass window at the front of our
sanctuary.
