Reverend Carlotta J. Vallerga
Ordained in September of 1995, Reverend Carlotta Vallerga
began serving as Pastor to our congregation in July of that
same year. Pastor Carlotta is a lifelong Eureka resident,
graduating from Eureka High and Humboldt Sate
University. She received her Master of Divinity degree from
San Francisco Theological Seminary in 1993. Active in
Clergy for Choice, Eureka Interfaith Fellowship and the
Humboldt County Peacemaker Prize organization, she has
also served our community as Camp Director for Camp
Mattole. Pastor Carlotta is married, with three children and
several grandchildren.
Under Pastor Carlotta’s leadership our congregation
continues to grow spiritually. We have also grown closer
as a church family, as we warmly welcome those searching
for a church home. Pastor Carlotta has guided the vision of
the congregation to include greater involvement in the
Humboldt community and beyond. She has strengthened
our connection with the United Church of Christ
denomination and within our local religious community.
